Drop-In Barrel for Ruger Precision® Rifles (RPR)

Shilen continues its commitment to help customer's take an already great rifle to the next level with Match Grade quality, as well as, more customizable options! Customer's requested a Ruger Precision® Rifle replacement barrel and Shilen has done just that.
Our new RPR line allows its owners to have replacement barrels made in:

• RPR RIMFIRE Barrels!!
• RPR Standard short action .470 and .384 boltface diameter chambers!
• RPR Magnum for long action for .540 boltface diameter chambers!

All Shilen's Barrels for the RPR come fully machined and ready to be installed into the action with no additional modification needed. The barrel finish will be polished for stainless and blued for chrome-moly. The customer may pick the finish length of their choice. There is an additional charge for lengths longer than 26".

Unique to the RPR line is the guaranteed muzzle diameter at your finished barrel length. Meaning, the customer will choose one of the contour available for their RPR, standard, magnum or rimfire listed below and the finish length they desire. The muzzle diameter will be the given diameter at the chosen custom length.

Add on Options for any RPR barrel are:
Bead blast Matte + $38.50.
Thread the muzzle + $82.50.
Cerakote the barrel + $165.

Currently there is only one muzzle diameter option of .816 for the rimfire.

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that actual headspace gauges be used to determine if a barrel is properly installed and head spaced. In our opinion, this is the safest way to guarantee you will come back for more barrels.
